The 28th annual NORTH TEXAS IRISH FESTIVAL was held again this year at Fair Park, Dallas, TX in the Centennial Hall and Automobile Building with vendor displays, food booths, Horse Activity Area and the Shannon Stage Tent located along the adjoining walkways. Recent rennovation of the fountain area between the buildings had been completed providing spectacular fountain displays. NTIF staff consisted of local volunteers who have continued to support the event throughout the years. Displays included the animal petting area, a whisky tasting venue and a 2010 NTIF sidewalk art display area - 168 Photos

The 2010 NORTH TEXAS IRISH FESTIVAL was held on Friday, March 5th thru Sunday, March 7th operating from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm on Friday, from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm on Saturday and from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday. Admission fee discounts were provided to Friday nite attendees, Dallas Rapid Area Transfer (DART) riders, to on-line ticket purchases and in Greensheet adds - 88 Photos

Equesterian performances included ROBEERT LINER - SPIRIT OF THE CELTIC HORSE, RON DEADMAN - TRAIL & HORSE DEMOS, BRIAN GIBBS & THE DALLAS MOUNTED POLICE and DR. JACK DONNELLY, HORSE CHIROPRACTOR. Displays and demonstrations included the amazing TEAM KARSON trick riding, the BLUEBONNET ARABIAN HORSE CLUB, TEXAS HORSE PARK, the BLACK STALLION LITERACY FOUNDATION and the purebred arabian DA NAPITOV of CARUTH ARABIANS - 44 Photos

Album: 06 - GRAND PARADE
For the first time this year a Grand Parade was staged starting at 4:30PM Saturday afternoon on the west side of the Centennial Building circling counter-clockwise around the Reflecting Pool and back to the starting point. Participants included lead by the North Texas Caledonian Pipes & Drums Band, Civil War history groups, representatives from various Scottish Clans, several animal rescue groups, Eve Dunigan, the "2010 Irish Person of the Year," the Dallas Mounted Police and riders from the Bluebonnet Arabian Horse Club and Caruth Arabians - 48 Photos

A Total of 11 Headline Performers Presented Musical Entertainment for the 2010 NTIF Featuring: THE BARRA MACNEILS, DAVID MUNNELLY BAND, ED MILLER, GADELLE, GRAND DERANGEMENT, GREAT BIG SEA, IRISH DESCENDANTS, SAMANTHA ROBICHAUD, SLIBAH NOTES, THE TOWN PANTS and VISHTEN.
